For biochemical research, to prevent the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, with antithrombotic effect.
Scope of Application
This product is suitable for the collection and anticoagulation of blood samples for clinical biochemical tests and emergency biochemical tests, as well as for some hemorheology tests.
For the clinical determination of ion content in blood, sodium heparin is recommended as the anticoagulant, as it causes the least interference with the measurement of other ions.
This product is not a pharmaceutical and shall not be used as an injection. Direct injection into humans or animals is strictly prohibited.
